Dear Washington Squares (TM) Interactive Online Game Scoring & Regulation Executive Committee,

Please accept the following statement as my submission to the aforementioned Game #2 of Washington Squares (TM).

Answer: Nine international game shows closely resembling/replicating that of Deal or No Deal. In fact, the first episode of Deal or No Deal occurred in in 1843 when lowly Georgian plantation owners would choose from 26 small frigates packed with varying numbers of slaves. The show proceeded to go underground when Abraham Lincoln decided only he should be allowed to legally own slaves. The shows producers then moved the operations abroad where human rights were less of a hindrance.

Valiant Effort: Scott Austin
Phrases T$ learned in foreign languages to pick up men. Only number 7 worked.

Commentary: The commentary section has been moved to the 'comments' area of the blog. This not only shortens our posts and puts comments where they rightly belong, but it adds to the number of comments on each post and generally makes us look and feel more popular.

Let it be known that I posted at 12:56pm on Friday afternoon, so Blogger is lying when it says I posted Thursday night. Anyone know how to fix this?

Scott Austin: Mike Chin cannot be quoted just because he is sleeping with you. Dana's comment is funny and sadly true (If I have to learn one more way to spell Kaitlyn or Allyson I will quit). Mike Chin just stated the obvious and got credit. Not fair and not true to the WS way.
Editor's note: Contrary to what this post may indicate, Mike Chin is not sleeping with both members of the WS staff.

Beth Handy: Who knew Howie Mandel was that multilingual? He's my new hero!
Oh.. wait.. uh, apparently he doesn't host them all. Dang. Hero worship rescinded.

Beth Handy, continued: My first impression was foreign language insults and snappy remarks, though. Trato Hecho definitely sounds like bitch to me. Alla tu? Your mom. All az alku? That's not what you said last niiiiight...
(this clearly indicates that I have no true grasp on other languages)

Dana Wise: Titles of Dr. Tagg's favorite Women's Choir songs – all of which (shockingly) end with the song's name being shouted at the end of the song. Example - sing, sing, sing, sing.. ALLA TU! (jazz hands!)

Rachel Taylor: It could be different brands of polish that Howie Mandel has tried in order to get that wonderful glossy shine of his bald head.

'Tis true...Mike Chin is NOT sleeping with both members of the WS staff. However, the other member IS sleeping with one of our multiple point holders. You guess which one...

Blogger for some reason always thinks people are in the west coast for their time zone. Just go into your preferences and select EST. :)

How do I know this? I'm glad you asked! Here's a shameless plug for MY blog: adventuresofanexpat.blogspot.com! haha... maybe i'll play WS one of these days...
